QBKs are nearly-complete upper receiver groups designed to shortcut the effort it takes to get you to your dream build. We handle the more tedious portions of assembly.
This QBK includes the upper receiver with a Method Ordnance Standard 16.0" barrel, Riflespeed RS7534 adjustable gas control, and Midwest Industries 14.0" LW (Lightweight) Combat Rail pre-installed. This QBK is built on a mil-spec upper receiver with forward assist and ejection port installed.
Simply add a compatible bolt carrier group, your selected charging handle, and the optimal muzzle device for your use case. A charging handle is not included unless selected above. Bolt carrier group and muzzle device are not included.
The 16" intermediate is the true value and simplicity king. Throw any muzzle device on, and GO. This barrel will be your workhorse for any practical or competition-focused build where you aren't worried about minimizing length. While it is less suppressor-centric than the 12.1", it's still right at home with a can. And if you use it to build your dream competition setup, you just might not be able to ever put it down.
The Riflespeed gas control uses a tool-free numbered control knob with twelve indexed settings that click through by hand. No worrying about tools, if you need to do any gas adjustments for function or optimization, the controls are literally at your fingertips. Especially convenient if you love experimenting with different carrier, buffer, and spring setups, OR you frequently switch between suppressed & unsuppressed shooting, or between high and low back pressure cans.
The excellent pairing of the Method 16.0 barrel with the Midwest 14.0 LW Combat Rail allows for plenty of usable rail space and a great blend of weight, balance, and aesthetics for any use case. The RS7534 Riflespeed control extends past the handguard just the right amount to make the controls easy to access and give the upper a very intentional look.
